”I took my in-laws to visit their daughter that is in high care at Melomed Richards Bay. As we left after visiting, the vehicle battery was flat as I left the lights on. We tried to push start it, but this did not work. A gentleman by the name of Sandile (who is an enrolled nurse assistant) and one of his colleagues helped me. We then decided to jumpstart as it was in the main road. As we connected our car to his car our car????????s doors locked with all keys and phones inside. What a catastrophe! The situation has gone from bad to worse. Sandile gave his car to me, someone he does not know at all, so I can fetch a tool to open the car without breaking the window. I fetched the tool and open the car and we jump started the car. I am humbled by this this gesture from one individual to another - you do not find this this type of act of kindness every day. I have also share this with my team this morning. Sandile and colleague, you are superstars. I am blessed to have met you under these circumstances.”

When I was discharged, I had no one to pick me up and I had never in my life used UBER one of the Nurses/ Sister male gentlemen by the name off SYA MDUNGE sorted the whole process out and paid the drive via his c/c , the ride cost R220.00 rand of which I only had R211.00 in cash on me and he just said do not worry about it and on top of that he walked all the way from my ward(ward c1-4) to the vehicle spoke to the drive and made sure i would be ok and still sent me a SMS to see if I got home safe. Now you tell me who does that. MELOMED you Rock, I love you all but if I can help it, I definitely do not want to go back to hospital but if I have to it definitely will be MELOMED TOKAI. ”For months now I have been suffering with nerve problems, headaches, numbness and limbness and pins and needles and tingling feelings in my arms, especially from my left shoulder down to my arm. For two months, I could not move, or use my left arm at all anymore. I started to adapt to my right arm more to do things, but never knew what the problem was or which doctor to go and see until I met Dr. Moyeni who sent me for MRI on my neck and shoulder after X-rays showed nothing. Dr. Moyeni really changed my life for the better and I am soooo grateful for him. He took the time to explain to me in detail, showing me and going through my MRI scans with me, why things were happening to me and the excruciating pain etc etc. I mean I am no expert, what do I know. But now I know what Facet Joints are and their functions and why they seize up etc and what needs to be done. After seeing him, he referred me to the Pain Clinic, Dr Mkhize. I have movement back in my arms and have a lot less pain than before. Thank you Dr Moyeni. I am so grateful for your time and effort, you really changed my life. You gave me back my quality of life again. ”
